Juan Bernat's Latest News: The Spanish Midfielder Joins Paris Saint-Germain
Spanish midfielder Juan Bernat has joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a four-year deal, the French club announced on Wednesday.
Bernat, who has been with Barcelona since he was just 14 years old, is expected to make his debut for PSG in their upcoming match against Bordeaux on Saturday.
He will be joining fellow Spanish international Antoine Griezmann and former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi at the Ligue 1 giants.
Bernat started his career at Real Madrid before moving to Barcelona in 2015. He made over 300 appearances for the Catalan giants, scoring 77 goals and providing 88 assists.
The 29-year-old is known for his versatility, being able to play as a defensive midfielder or as an attacking midfielder.
Bernat's signing by PSG comes after the club lost several key players during the summer transfer window, including star striker Neymar Jr., who joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in July.
With Bernat and Griezmann leading the attack, and Messi leading the midfield, PSG looks set to be one of the top teams in Ligue 1 this season.
