One key player who helped them achieve this feat is a young talent by the name of João Félix. Born on June 5th, 2001, in Lisbon, Portugal, Félix began his professional career at Benfica, where he spent three seasons before joining Porto in 2018.
Félix's breakthrough came during the 2019-2020 season, where he played as a winger and scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions. His performances caught the attention of top clubs in Europe, including Manchester United and Chelsea, but it was FC Porto who ultimately signed him.
